Focus on Your Inner Yeehaw & Namaste

Cowgirl Yogatography is a 3-night women’s retreat dedicated to creativity, renewal, and the beauty of horses. Spend your days learning the fundamentals of photography through hands-on practice, using the mind-body awareness from yoga to unlock your creativity, and learning to capture the beauty of our equine subjects and natural surroundings.

Enjoy full-run of our private 115-acre ranch with extensive trails and rustic-yet-luxurious lodging. After three square meals of gourmet delights, and all the down dogs, workshops, and horse nuzzles you can handle, settle in for the evening with a dip in the hot tub, a glass of wine, great conversation, and a breathtaking canopy of stars overhead.

On This Retreat, You'll Enjoy:

Luxury Lodging

Spend three nights in the rustic-chic accommodations at the Double T River Ranch.

Daily Yoga Classes

Tap into your creative potential through movement by building body and mind self-awareness and openness.

Gourmet Meals & Wines

Enjoy Western gourmet meals prepared by our private chef, and satisfy your cowgirl cravings and maintain your energy. Plus, enjoy fine wines from Yellowstone Cellars & Winery and local beers like Moose Drool (trust us!).

Meditation & Journaling

Set your intentions through a series of meditation and journaling exercises specifically designed for our yogatographers.

Daily Photography Workshops

Expand your camera skills and creative eye through daily classes, demonstrations, and engaging photo assignments with your yogatography guru Larry Stanley of Larry Stanley Photography. We’ll study fundamentals, lighting, vision, confidence, and much more.

Hands-on Horse Time

Connect with and be inspired by your equine photo subjects through quality time exploring the horse-human connection (note: there is no riding on this retreat).

  • We came together to enjoy nature, learn about the creative process, and grow confident in using our cameras. I walked away with all of that but so much more.

  • I came away from this weekend in a state of catharsis. The yoga opened my heart, the meditation opened my mind, the horses fostered new ways of communicating, and the photography provided a creative outlet that captured the entire integrated experience in some amazing images, reconciling pieces of me that I did not even know were broken. And for that I am forever grateful.
