Restore & Reboot Yoga

B Bar Ranch, Montana

Restore Your Body & Spirit

After prolonged stress and anxiety, it's easy to forget how your soul feels when it's lighter, happier, and authentically supported. This retreat helps you reclaim the best version of yourself—and experience a lasting heart, body, and mind "reboot."

True peace comes from within, so that's where we focus this weekend of relaxation, restoration, and self-love. From centering with daily yoga (no power flows) to expanding your wellbeing toolkit with Ayurveda, equine coaching with our Cowgirl Yoga Herd (groundwork only, no riding), breathwork sessions to mindfulness exercises, you'll recalibrate the tools needed to walk through life calmly and with purpose. Return home having deepened your yoga practice, realigned your body, steadied your mind, sparked your creativity, and experienced the quiet, healing power of nature.

Space to breathe, space to be

Environment has a profound impact on how you feel, which is why this 4-day, 3-night women’s retreat is nestled in the heart of Southwest Montana. Finding yourself again starts with getting lost in The Last Best Place.

You’ll enjoy full-run of the B Bar Ranch with its spectacular landscape of grasslands and high mountain peaks. Spend your days practicing restful yoga, connecting with our horses during 1:1 equine coaching sessions, engaging in good ‘ole fashioned yogini camaraderie, and exploring how gentle movement, mindfulness, and a sprinkle of creativity can reboot body and mind.

Stay in rustic, comfortable and cozy A-frame cabins with private front porches that seem to beckon you to prop up your slippers and enjoy the sights and sounds of Paradise Valley. Each double-occupancy cabin has a living room, ground-floor bedroom, loft bedroom, and a shared bath. Traveling alone? We’ll match you with a cool cabin-mate.

After three square meals of gourmet delights, and all the Child’s Poses you’ve been craving, settle in for the evening with a dip in the hot tub, a glass of wine, great conversation, and a breathtaking canopy of stars overhead.

On this retreat, you'll enjoy:

Cozy Cabin Lodging

Spend three nights in a B Bar Ranch A-frame cabin with your own private bedroom and shared bathroom.

Daily Yoga Classes

This retreat will have a special focus on restorative and yin yoga. Give yourself permission to let go of power flow for a few days, and reap the benefits of a more gentle practice. All classes will be in the yoga yurt. If you've never done yoga in a yurt, this is your chance.

Equine Coaching

Join us in the round pen, where the true magic happens. Drop your expectations as you enter, and build an authentic new relationship with your equine partner. Allow your energy to intertwine with his, and let the alchemy rise.

Gourmet Meals & Wines

Enjoy Western gourmet meals prepared by the B Bar's resident chef, including certified-organic ranch-raised Ancient White Park Cattle beef and home-grown heirloom vegetables and herbs. Plus, enjoy fine wines from Yellowstone Cellars & Winery and local beers like Moose Drool (trust us!).

Free to Be Me Time

Unlike many "retreats," we won't schedule every moment of your day. Rather, we build in plenty of free time for you to truly kick back and relax—however you prefer.

Meditation & Journaling

Set your intentions through a series of meditation and journaling exercises.

Explore Your Creative Side

Coloring books, sketch pads and art supplies will be on hand for your enjoyment. There will also be a led vision board session, and a happy hour mala making workshop.

Autumn Ayurveda Workshop

Claire Ragozzino, author of Living Ayurveda, will join us on retreat for a look at your fall diet, movement, and breath practices, and rejuvenating autumn rituals. You'll get a copy of the book and other Ayurvedic treats. Ayurveda, one of the world's oldest holistic (“whole-body”) healing systems, teaches us how to care for our bodies and minds through the many seasons and cycles of life.

Wildlife Watching

Take advantage of unparalleled wildlife watching opportunities (e.g. elk, birds, grizzly bears, and more).

  • The high note of my summer was attending the Restore & Reboot Retreat. A random text from a friend and a big leap of faith 2.5 years ago finally led me to Montana this September for four life-changing days. It was humbling to meet women of all ages and share our unique stories. Nothing to lose, everything to gain: hidden strength (equine coaching), mindful health (yoga, meditation & healthy eating) in a gorgeous setting.

  • I am a repeat Big Sky Yoga retreater for a reason....the Restore & Reboot was my 4th retreat. It was the perfect opportunity to escape and re-charge. Upon arrival, I was able to quickly detox, shed some negative energy from a prior year filled with all things "Covid" and catch my breath from the busy corporate scene. Margaret and Caitlin provided the perfect backdrop and agenda to pause, get away from too much technology/social media and think outside the box in a creative and inspiring way. Montana is always a good place to retreat and restore, and I highly recommend this retreat to re-set and re-discover what really matters in the world at the end of the day.

  • The Restore and Reboot retreat was everything my weary heart needed in 2021, and then some. Margaret and her BSYR team focus on every detail of the retreat weekend to ensure that attendees are able to just show up, leave their outside cares and worries at the door, and turn their attention inward to renew heart, mind, and spirit. My favorite parts of the weekend included morning meditation all cozy and bundled up on the deck, pre-bedtime yoga nidra, and locally sourced, delicious group meals. Most of all, Margaret and her team make one feel at home and at ease, and so incredibly welcome. I will be a repeat attendee for many years to come!

  • This retreat was exactly what I needed after a rather difficult year personally. Spending the long weekend in Montana helped clear my mind, and the retreat activities nourished my body and soul. Every gal deserves a self care retreat like this! Thank you for providing me this space for healing.

    Michelle , Colorado

  • I want to thank you so very much for creating such a calming and healing retreat...It was such a good few days of quiet, stillness, nourishment and refreshment. I am very grateful for the reboot and restoration!
