Warrior One with a Touch of Wild West

LUXE Cowgirl Yoga™ is a 3-night women’s retreat that welcomes yoginis and riders of all levels to experience “laid-back luxury” at its finest, under Montana’s legendary Big Sky. Spend your days practicing yoga in our restored barn studio and engaging in good ‘ol fashioned cowgirl camaraderie with our equine partners, both in and out of the saddle. You’ll have full-run of the 1,500-acre Double T River Ranch as you explore the connection between yoga and riding to improve not only your saddle skills, but also your overall wellbeing.

After three square meals of gourmet delights, and all the down dogs and horse nuzzles you can handle, settle in for the evening with a dip in the hot tub, a glass of wine, great conversation, and a breathtaking canopy of stars overhead.

On This Retreat, You'll Enjoy:

Luxury Lodging

Spend three nights in rustic-chic accommodations at the Double T River Ranch.

Daily Yoga Classes

Build body and mind self-awareness and openness that prepare you for horseback riding (and life)—with a special focus on the back, hips, and core, the center of the body's energy.

Cowgirl Yoga™ 101

Learn about the horse-human connection, grooming, safety, and experience the magic of "join up" in the round pen. Note: Our horse time will be both in and out of the saddle -- this is more than a riding retreat!

Pre-Riding Yoga

Master your breathing with in-saddle yoga exercises that help you get centered, relaxed, and in the right mindset to ride.

Horseback Riding

Learn to ride (or expand your existing skills) in corral-based lessons and on the Double Tree River Ranch’s expansive trail system.

Gourmet Meals & Wines

Enjoy Western gourmet meals prepared by our private chef, to satisfy your cowgirl cravings and maintain your energy. Plus, enjoy fine wines from Yellowstone Cellars & Winery and local beers like Moose Drool (trust us!).

Meditation & Journaling

Set your intentions through a series of meditation and journaling exercises specifically designed for Cowgirl Yoginis.

Wildlife Watching

Take advantage of unparalleled wildlife watching opportunities (e.g. elk, birds, deer, and more).

  • Previous vacations have left me with a fleeting sense of refreshment, but my time in Montana soaked into my core and has given me lasting peace.

    Jessica, Wisconsin

  • Big Sky Yoga Retreats nourishes your mind, body, and soul – the way a vacation is meant to be. And Montana is the paradisiacal host for such an experience.

    Lori, Pennsylvania

  • My mind is forever going over my to-do list. But, in Montana, I was there to learn and absorb. I didn’t have to do anything but be in the present moment.

    Shelley, California

  • The rich smell of freshly-oiled leather, the gentle nickering of horses, their velveteen muzzles—it was heaven on earth as I grew up. But after college, riding faded to make way for a career, grad school, and ‘more important things.’ Yet, the ‘me in my mind’ still wore dusty, butter-soft cowboy boots, jeans, and straw hats. She was independent, adventurous, and brave. I found her again in Montana.

    Nicole, Indiana

  • Montana is the perfect place to do some soul searching. I came to LUXE Cowgirl Yoga physically and emotionally drained from a difficult life transition, but those days at the Double T River Ranch re-energized me. I walked away with my cup full of possibility.

    Kathleen, Tennessee

  • Montana might be the only place on earth with a sky big enough to nurture the spirit of a Cowgirl Yogini.

    Lori, Washington

  • From the moment I arrived in Montana, I was in love—overwhelmed by the warmth and acceptance of the humans and horses on the retreat. Reconnecting with and healing my spirit through yoga, meditation, and horse time felt like coming home.

    Lori, Washington

Add-On Trail Ride

For those cowgirls whose long weekend wasn’t quite long enough, consider adding on a trail ride the Monday following your retreat. Join us for a full-day trek through the Bridger Mountains (or one of our other nearby ranges) and enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch on the trail. We work up to this ride all weekend, but let us know if you have any concerns about your skills prior to signing up.

Note: You’re responsible for your own lodging Sunday evening, but we’ll provide a list of suggestions in your orientation materials.
