Equal parts activity and rejuvenation, our days will focus on deepening your yoga practice, replenishing your mind and spirit, and nourishing your body with gourmet local fare. And you’ll need the nourishment because we’ll be exploring the best of Northern Patagonia’s outdoor offerings, on foot and hoof. Our horses are Criollos, a breed descended from various Spanish horses brought to South America by early explorers. They are perfectly suited to the rugged countryside…and snuggles.
But, don’t worry. There’s “down time” to recharge, journal, and enjoy our stunning surroundings.
NOTE: This retreat is not for beginner riders; we recommend riding experience and/or riding lessons to prepare. If you have been with us on Cowgirl Yoga before, you are qualified! Riders should be comfortable in the saddle (at all gaits) for 3-4 hours at a time, and riding through steep and varied terrain. You will be amazed at how much your seat improves after a week of riding like a gaucho!
You should also be fit enough to hike 3-4 hours at a time through varied terrain.
