Husband is out of town for work this week. He calls yesterday and inquires, “So what did you do today?” I answer: “I went Christmas caroling on horseback to two senior centers, dressed as one of the ‘3 wise women’.” Silence ensues. When I told 6 year old after picking her up from school, I got the same reaction, which is unusual since she’s been especially chatty lately. As husband seemed to be in a state of disbelief, I told him to check out the article in the Bozeman Chronicle today.
It was an amazing day with Janice, our Cowgirl Yoga wrangler, and Vi, our Winter Wonderland massage therapist, joining me as the other wise women. Of course it’s fun for us whenever there are horses involved, but to be able to bring some holiday cheer to the seniors was definitely the icing on the cake.
